The company D&P Warehouse was started over 30 years ago by my father Daniel Brockhill & has successfully grown over this time. In 1997 I partnered with my father in the family business in which we had many happy customers.

In 2016 my father passed away due to illness and I decided to carry on with the business but to also try a new direction in going mobile as I found a lot of our work stemmed from social media so changed the business name to DB Mobile Carpets.

I recognised that in today’s society many people find it difficult to find the time to visit crowded showrooms or busy high street stores when choosing carpets. Many elderly people find difficulty in getting out to a shop at all. Young couples hard at work all week find similar difficulty with both being able to fit in a visit to the shops – as do parents with young children.

DB Mobile carpets was developed with this issue in mind – we come to you. A seven day a week service, with daytime and evening appointments available to suit you. Also you can see what the carpet or vinyl will look like in your own home against settees wall colours etc

The main areas that we cover are Lancaster Morecambe Heysham Carnforth Kendal Galgate Garstang Grange-over-Sands Milnthorpe but also can cover many other areas on request

Our fitting & installation service is by fully experienced staff who are polite, helpful and friendly. The fitters one of which will always be myself work exclusively for db mobile carpets we do not use casual sub contract fitters, thus guaranteeing the customer continuity and involvement with each individual job from start to finish.

My staff pride themselves in their professional skills and attitude to each job. This is reflected in the fact that over 90% of our business comes from existing customers and recommendations

I am myself am a ukfa qualified carpet fitter and also have ukfa certificates which can be viewed on request.
